Advanced over techniques a lot today, now you can setup your defensive deck.

Also enhanced the buddy setup for facets, now you can preview your buddy with different hair/beard styles.

Ok, so things are changing a bit. I am adding techniques you can use in battles.

This is a somewhat big change in the combat model and also adds some screens, but I think it is worth it, to make fighting a bit more interesting.

Also, Mr. JConde did some quality JS work over the item buying screen.

Ok, I did some testing today and some things emerged. I will get into fixing them next wednesday probably. I already have an excellent QA to test the product next weekend!

I had been pushing it for too long, so one week ago I decided I would do it, I had to make the Roguelike World Map a dynamic website in which:

* Mantainance was possible and not manual
* People could add themselves out
* You could get a listing of people
* Different views could be developed

So I jumped on it. After something like 20 hours of work, users feedback and lots of coffee. It is available at http://www.roguetemple.com/map

Today, Mr. Konijin joined the dev team, hopefully we will pull out another view for the map, one that seeks to be even more roguelikish (I am talking about outputting HTML for the map instead of an image and locating people there instead of doing floating divs for each). It will probably look cool, and we already started!

Ok, after taking some important choices for the project (spliting it into two projects, as described on http://pixalnation.net ), I made some advancements toward the completion of the first one (pixalguild).

* Friend Requests model have been changed from user-> buddy to user -> user, which is much less clumsy
* The duel model has been changed, now you first pick your target, then the attacker.
* The profile page has lots of changes
* Each user has a main fighter now
* Lots of changes on messages and notifications.

Some work was done in the duel model tonight, however, issues with the CVS repository preventED me from doing any major advancement... tomorrow will be another day.

Also, Mr. JoSeconde has joined to the pixalnation devteam... welcome compadre! Tonight he shows us some advancement on the "pick location" form (this will be used to select a spot for your city, as well as allowing you to browse the world... the project is growing!)

Well ok, this was not really a "work day" for the project.

I have been a bit busy lately, but I have got important feedback from some people and have thought a bit on certain things to be enhanced into the project.

As for the to-do list, we still have
* Usability enhancements and graphics work
* Make the defender attack the attacker in the duel (That means each duel has two rounds and the attacker is damaged too)
* Implement store inventory daily shuffle
* Implement user sign up
* Implement nation creation including the window to pick location (this will be hard.... but fun :P)
* Implement hospitals
* Some content (pants and gloves)

I leave you with some eye candy in the shape of screen mockups :P

* Artificial barriers for duels per day and assault per day have thus been removed and replaced with much more natural "noreasontoattackifyoudonthavehits" constraints

We are almost done!

* Worked a lot more on internationalization, including settlement assault messages, item names, error messages and so on
* Added almost all the rest of content, including facets for male and female hair, and male beards
* Separated male and female humanoid anatomies, so your male fighters can no longer wear dresses

Whats left?
* Usability enhancements
* Graphic work (a new logo)
* Some content (pants and gloves)
* Add HP for fighters, and remove "daily" attacks and assault constraints

Ok, today I finished "internationalizating" all web pages around resource bundles for spanish and english
I also made 4 language icons (Colombia, Spain, U.S. and United Kingdom)... yes, I was bored, (and GIMP rocks)
I also made some changes to the "profile" and "home" layout in the process.

* Address some internationalization issues, like in notifications, combat and assault messages, etc.
* Add the rest of initial content.

Added internationalization, pixalattack will initially be available in Spanish and English.
Of course, had to made it the best possible way (that is, the one that looks better from usage :P)

I had to implement a way to parse "{n}" property values... (example: You {0} the {1})... spend too much time looking, found no way, implementing the parser was quicker :P
